Dear Myrtle

First I’d like to thank you profoundly for your help and spot-on advice last year regarding my Mum’s battle with cancer.

When Mum was diagnosed it was already Stage 4, so we didn’t really expect the oil to save her, although this was always a hope. She eventually died on October 4th after a six-month progression of the disease. Of course I was and am heartbroken, but one of the most positive things to come out of the experience was the efficacy of the oil as a pain treatment and mood calmer. In fact it worked so well that Mum put her trust in it (difficult for a woman of her generation), and hardly used any painkillers right until the last couple of weeks, when she was put on morphine by the “specialists”.

So Myrtle I want to add my voice (and my Mum’s) to all those who testify to the efficacy of cannabis oil as a pain medication. It may well have also slowed down the progression of her cancer, but we have no way of knowing this. Certainly the oncologists’ impersonal and quite frankly callous treatment of my Mum did very little other than to swell their already bulging bank balances.

Kind regards to you, and with my best wishes and ongoing support for your campaigns for the legalization of this wonderful medicinal plant.

Yours sincerely,
