Driven by community enhancement, development and the need for Harm Reduction, DPCs are typically small-to-medium-sized groups of private individuals, pooling their resources towards the communal cultivation of Cannabis, limited to the needs and consumption habits of the individual. Products are then distributed internally to (adult) members of the Dagga Private Club only, for their personal consumption.

Yes and no, depending on where you get your information. Dagga Private Clubs should be legal if there is correct reading in of the Constitutional Court judgement of 2018. Fields of Green for ALL intervened as amicus curiae in The Haze Club Case, seeking clarity from the Constitutional Court in this matter. Unfortunately the defendants chose to reach a settlement with the State that has left us in with a grey area filled with legal uncertainties.
