Our mission, rooted in constitutional advocacy and legal reform, positions us somewhat apart. At the International Symposium, the Cheeba Summit and on the main Expo stage, we took the opportunity to highlight human rights issues: emphasizing how vague regulation still places everyday people at risk.

Despite the challenges, the Expo was also a celebration of possibility—the potential of South Africa to lead global cannabis innovation. Real change requires laws that support safe, transparent commerce—not one where many operate in fear of raids, arrests, or health risks.
