Cannabis for Private Purposes Act

was signed into law by our president.

Myrtle weighs in on the frustration felt by so many as we wait, and wait… and wait for the regulations to be posted for public comment by the Department of Justice and Correctional Services.

Until these regulations have been through the public consultation process and confirmed by parliament, Cannabis will remain in the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act of 1992 and we will continue to wallow in this messy grey area where nobody knows what is what and both the cowboys and the cops will continue to run rampant.
