Fields of Green for ALL is attending the 63rd Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, Austria. It was expected that 53 member states of the United Nations would be voting on the World Health Organisation’s recommendations on the rescheduling of Cannabis within the International Drug Control Treaties. Like a recurring bad dream, the vote has been postponed once again.

However, all is not lost as the statement from South Africa’s Ambassador at our Permanent Mission in Vienna, H.E. Excellency Ambassador Rapulane Molekane, delivered on the first day of proceedings, indicated a position that seems positive. We were honoured to be in the room to hear this. Please see video below.
