In a disappointing, yet somewhat unsurprising turn of events – we received news of the The Haze Club’s judgement today whereby their case for the Grow Club Model was dismissed. There is talk of an appeal, but the ruling by Judge Slingers confirms what we hypothesised and that is, that the legalisation of dealing and Cannabis concerns policy issues and this falls within the realms of legislature and not the judiciary. Talk about throwing the ball back into Parliament’s court, further playing out this stalemate of some sort of weird passing the buck game.
