Prof Nutt is sworn in and Adv Mahon Starts leading evidence in chief with our first witness. It is Thursday afternoon and the trial of the Plant was meant to start on Monday.
Dr Abrams leaves for a visit to Cape Town. We know by now that we have lost him as a witness and that the trial will not get anywhere near finishing in the 19 court days allocated.
Based on this article, it does not seem as though any ground is being taken here. Just seems sort of fruitless which is quite upsetting. The person you flew in should refund you any expenses incurred, they have not provided any worth to what you have spent. Why pay for something you arent getting.
It was not Dr Abrams fault that the court wasted our time with the live stream debacle so we just have to cut our losses unfortunately. They play dirty like that all the time. However, it is not over until it is over & we will most probably be going back to court so will get a cost order in the end.
