The Hotbox Show live stream will be going on hiatus for a few months.

We aren’t completely abandoning you. We’ll still be sharing fresh content every week on social media, but now in bite sized pieces, making them a little more accessible for those who don’t have an hour to spare.

While we take time out from our live shows, we are going to be transforming ourselves from 100% ‘live and unpredictable’, to slightly more pre-recorded and predictable.  By doing this we feel we’ll be bringing you better content, more reliably.

The studio will be getting a little lift during this time, maximising our small space to be able to bring more news and entertainment to you. We’ll also be getting out to more venues and events, popping in to visit Fields of Green for ALL affiliates and generally finding more Cannabis experiences to share with you.

These changes also mean that we won’t be at the mercy of load shedding/cable theft, as we have been recently.  It’s honestly heart-breaking when you’ve prepped an exciting show and booked amazing guests only to have to cancel, not only because there’s no electricity, but also because the cell phone towers have also gone down, leaving no signal to stream with.  It gets so frustrating for the crew; we really do look forward to spending our Thursday evenings interacting on the live stream show. It’s become so ingrained in our routine over the past five years that I’m sure we’re all going to feel a bit spare in the coming Thursdays.

It feels odd to say this, because we’re still going to keep content coming at you so that you don’t miss us …  but the entire Hotbox Show crew is genuinely going to miss our weekly date with you.  Hopefully we’ll see you out and about in the real world.
