The authors of this petition, The Dagga Couple – Julian Stobbs and Myrtle Clarke – solemly declare that all personal and private information submitted (ie: South African ID Number) herewith are required and intended for the purpose of authenticity only, shall be stored in a safe and secure location, and shall under no circumstances be made available to any unauthorised person(s).
“The Dagga Couple” shall take all reasonable steps to protect all personal information submitted when completing the petition. Such information will be stored in an encrypted format on a secure server. However such information may form part of the submissions made in respect of the application to the Constitutional Court, matters which relate to the application for the re-legalisation of Cannabis and/or any matter which may emanate there from.
Any party who voluntarily submits personal information and/or completes the petition, indemnifies the authors of the petition from any action or liability which may arise as a result of the petition being used in respect of the application to the Constitutional Court, matters which relate to the application for the re-legalisation of Cannabis and/or any matter which may emanate there from.
Any party who completes the petition accepts that, should any of the information submitted when completing the petition enter the public domain, for any reason, incuding the above reasons listed above, and such was beyond the reasonable control of the authors of the petition, the authors shall not be held liable for any action and/or liability arising there from.
Parties who participate in the petition accept that the following information may be retained by the authors of the petition for future use for as far such relates to the application to the Constitutional Court, matters which relate to the application for the re-legalisation of Cannabis and/or any matter which may emanate there from:

- name,
- surname,
- contact details,
- identity number,
All information provided by a party who completed the petition accepts the conditions, indemnities and risks which may be associated thereto and accepts any risks which lie beyond the authors of the petitions control in respect of the information submitted.
The authors of the petition may collect, maintain, save, compile and disclose the information submitted for as far as it pertains to the Constitutional Court application for the re-legalistaion of Cannabis and any matter emanating there from.
The authors of the petition are entitled to collate, share and compile any information submitted in respect of the petition that DOES NOT RELATE TO ANY SPECIFIC PERSONAL INFORMATION.
The authors of the petition shall be entitled to share the information only as far as such relates to the Constitutional Court application for the re-legalistaion of Cannabis and any matter emanating there from.
By participating in the petition you accept all the conditions set out in the indemnity and are deemed to have accepted same by way of your conduct.
