Mid winter marks the time for the annual National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. By far the most prolific Cannabis growing area in Southern Africa and a hotbed of support for legalisation, our legal team were invited to contribute to Thinkfest, billed as “A Fascinating Festival for your Brain”. The word DAGGA made it on to the cover of the programme so we headed for the City of Saints to support Senior Associate attorney Paul-Michael Keichel and spread the news of our campaign.
Paul-Michael’s speech “Weeding out Legislative Hypocrisy” and the panel discussion “Decriminalising Dagga” provide a good insight into The Trial of the Plant and the arguments contained therein.
We invite you to watch and brush up on the facts and fallacies.
