Please advise as to whether or not i can be arrested for cannabis seeds(that i purchased) being mailed to me, i went to collect my parcel at the mail depot in Goodwood only to find it already opened. i was asked if i knew what was in the parcel, i said it was a training dvd, they opened it in front of me and of course it was cannabis seeds about 15 seeds. the customs officer told me that its illegal to import ” dagga” seeds, and i told her i didn’t and that it must’ve been sent to the wrong person because i ordered a training dvd. can they arrest me for this?
