Curiosity got me started. It sounds a little silly now but the inlay of the Cypress Hill “Black Sunday” CD is what I consider as triggering my interest in cannabis.
It had a list of facts about the plant, including that no one has ever died from it, it had the quote from the DEA Judge from 1988 saying it is one of the safest therapeutically active substances know to man, how 12 people were prescribed marijuana from the US Government and how hemp produces paper, textiles, food and so on.
I could not believe this plant was made illegal. It also sparked the “forbidden fruit” scenario for me. Since it was illegal, well now I HAVE to try it…
That was many years ago. Now it has become such a big part of my life, for my family and most of my friends too.
It is the perfect compliment to the human experience.
We smoke it, in various ways, joints, bongs, pipes, spots…whichever takes our fancy at the time and depending on what we are about to enjoy. We also use it as medicine, we extract essential oil from it and use it to treat conditions within my social circle such as cancer, IBS, asthma, depression, addiction (alcohol), bipolar, arthritis, sciatica, headaches…there are too many to remember.
Since using it on a regular basis, it also become clear that cognitive function is heightened – it is easier to connect the dots and you feel more connected to everything, including yourself. Your mind and body form a stronger than usual interface. It leads you to become a more spiritual person if you follow it and don’t deny the sensation.
The cannabis effect makes you introspective and that is where you can find all the answers which is why I think it is truly illegal. You cannot control a population of free thinkers who also have control over their own health and mental facilities. That is the opposite of what our elite rulers want.
