Ok, I see most of the comments were posted a long time ago, but hopefully someone will read my post.

I have been smoking ganja since the age of 12 years old. I’m now 35 years old and still smoking, I work on oil rigs, earn more money than most lawyers earn, have 2 properties paid for, 2 cars, and a motorbike. I have a beautiful wife, and 2 great little boys. I don’t smoke in front of my family at all. My wife knows I smoke, but does not like it cause it’s illegal. We went to Amsterdam last year for 8 days, and she let me smoke till my hearts content, and didn’t mind at all cause it’s tolerated there. The reason why I am telling people this, is because ganja is not bad, ganja doesn’t kill people, people kill people. I smoked a spliff before my trip to the rig, sat and thought to myself ” The easiest way for a political party to rule SA is to legalize or decriminalize weed. They could have a trial run, whereas they make it legal, for ganja to be smoked either in the privacy of your own home ( which by the way is paid for by yourself ), or have cafes like Amsterdam. These cafes would be regulated, and a person would only be able to carry and buy a certain amount of weed. Like I said, you would only be allowed to smoke in the cafes or in your own home. Your police force would have to be doubled, and they would have to be paid properly. If you are caught driving under the influence of drugs, you should be locked up, as you are endangering lives. Weed has been known to not only ease the pain for people with medical problems, but it has been known to actually cure people as you all know. It’s time for the government of SA to wake up, they say SA is a democratic society, so why not put it to a vote. Let people vote and see if weed should be legalized or if it should be illegal. We pay our taxes which entitles us to have a free and democratic society. Give the people the choice. I hope this all makes sense, and hope i don’t get to much criticism  My wife actually asked me if i’m gonna smoke weed forever, to which I replied, no, just till the day I die  on that note just remember : Man made booze, GOD made weed, WHO DO YOU TRUST?
