You probably won’t remember us (I know you see loads of people); we were at your talk at Zula Bar in Cape Town the other day.  My name is Kabous and my wife is Dorylee (we sat right in front).

My wife just got busted (she was released, thankfully, but court date set for 2 May) and I would really appreciate the contact details of a good lawyer.

We want to adopt a baby and we fear this would destroy all our hopes for the future.  She is willing to pay any fine or do community service until she bleeds, anything to avoid a criminal record.  Although both of us have ‘partaken’ since, basically, we became adults, neither of us have had any run ins with the law, even to the point of NEVER even getting a traffic ticket.  We’re hoping we could beg the prosecutor to consider this fact as well as our desire to adopt a baby.

I know you said you get this kind of message often, I’m sorry to bother, but I’m in agony with my mind continually thinking of worst case scenarios.  I don’t even know where to start…

Apologies, hoping to hear from you soon.
