Hello dearest Dagga Couple.

My boyfriend and I are huge advocates of your movement and the beliefs which you uphold. I am currently away with family members, but tonight my darling boyfriend was in Long Street with friends of ours. He was carrying weed on him, and of course he was stoned and mellow, and the police have arrested him. We’re 18 years old and support the stance of smoking marijuana while most people of our age poison themselves with alcohol. He is the loveliest and most peaceful person in the world, and it angers me beyond belief that he has to spend the weekend in custody, simply for inhaling and possessing a substance which is illegal, but also makes you miles more competent and chilled out than alcohol or any other substance. I wait in agony to hear the news of when he will be released. I know it may seem very “cliched” that I would contact you at this time, but I want to know how we can get involved in your movement so that we can make a difference. It is not okay that he spends a weekend in a horrible holding cell for choosing the natural herb over poison.

I would just like to thank Myrtle & Jules for their efforts in this movement! You guys are definitely the catalyst that will bring about the change we wish to see.

I have read a couple posts here and would just like to add some info which may be able to help some folks..

There was someone who mentioned their mum having adrenal gland failure.. This is a very serious condition and can cause death! The cause of this disease and most modern disease is incorrect dietary habits & stress.My advice would be to look into the CANDIDA DIET or the GAPS DIET to help reboot the body as well as treatment with cannabis. Since stress is a main cause of adrenal gland failure, it would probably be better to stick with INDICA varieties or hybrids that have an INDICA dominance.Sometimes the sativa varieties can agitate folks mentally (paranoia etc) which would be counter productive for your mum.

I also would like to say that asking the DC where one can purchase kilo’s of herbal for R1500 etc is not wise! Firstly finding decent herbal at that price is NOT EASY (dont believe the media or the cops, they know nothing) and if you do the quality will not be good, unless you have great connections in the kei. The DC are doing something positive here and the last thing they (or the entire movement) needs is for them to get into more trouble for helping out someone who doesn’t want to get down to grass roots, interact with the community & find a good source…
