Hi there
Firstly I would just like to express my appreciation for the work you guys are doing and the progressive steps you are taking for change in this country, I applaud you.
I myself, as most people probably do, believe in what you guys are doing and stand for the same thing but they either don’t have a voice or are too scared to step forward.
I would like to make a donation to your efforts as I feel that you have the biggest influence and opportunity in this regard and are the people that will be remembered for many years to come.
I am a strong believer in the legalization of industrial hemp and its benefits to not only health but to the revitalization of rural and historical townships. Giving more opportunities to the less fortunate and providing sustainable methods of living as well as education. I say this because of all the products hemp can make and how it can be used effectively in South Africa and other African countries. RDP housing made solely out of hemp. That’s my vision.
I know Hemporium have already built an entire house out of hemp and have got a permit from the health department to go through the testing stage of growing hemp in The western cape. as well as which strain works the best. As far as I know they are in their final year of trials.
I am a 20 year old male studying psychology through unisa. I’m studying this to get a degree and because I am very interested in the way people think and how the brain works. I myself have suffered from anxiety from a young age and over the past year i have been able to take myself off 5 of my 8 different types of medication, all schedule 7. I cannot explain the internal damage and pain I have experienced and do experience on medicine, the side effects, the way it makes you more anxious and depressed most of the time and the fact that they use you as a lab rat and give you which ever medicine they get paid the most for. it’s time for change. It’s time for innovation.
I would seriously like to be involved in anyway and would like to know if you guys can give me any opportunity at all to help.
Thank you and I look forward to your response.
