The Open Society Foundation release an in depth study of 30 years of the Dutch ‘Coffee Shop’ system. After all that time, the study concludes the primary motivation for cannabis policy in the Netherlands is politics – but by and large, the system has been a success.
‘Coffee Shops and Compromise’ is an excellent. read. South African policy makers would do well to read it.
