Our #CannabisCanHelpSouthAfrica campaign has lifted off and we’re very excited about the valuable information we are sharing. Because dagga-related content is still subject to being censored on social media, we’ve decided to ask YOU, the masses, to help us reach ALL South Africans.
We need your help to reach our goal of 42 000 signatures on our petition to legalise Cannabis in South Africa for ALL!
We have put together a Street Team Pack for you to download and use to show your support. Post your videos and pictures on social media with the footer overlay or sticker designs, use the logo as your cover image, and most importantly – engage with your friends, family and community and encourage them to sign the Re-legalisation Petition.
The Digital Street Team Pack consists of:
- Our campaign logo – #CannabisCanHelpSA
- Our petition meme – asking the President to look at our petition, which must have at least 42,000 signatures by 30 June 2020!
- Fields of Green for ALL Brief – Cannabis Can Help South Africa June 2020
- CCHSA PDF brief – link to Myrtle on the Hotbox Show explaining the campaign and exactly what we need from you and a list of hashtags to use
- Campaign footer – to overlay on your own posts or videos

These images need to be shared far and wide, as there are hundreds of thousands of South Africans that use the plant, yet only a small percentage of those that have signed the petition. We need more signatures to accurately represent South Africa’s full and varied demographic of Cannabis users and supporters.
We have taken the time to design the images to display correctly on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, in order to make it as easy as possible for you to help get the word out and encourage the Cannabis community of South Africa to stand together and let our voices be heard! Help us to show the country and the President that Cannabis can Help South Africa!
