The Department of Social Development in partnership with the Central Drug Authority (CDA) hosts a round table discussion on the use of cannabis in South Africa.  The agenda discussed the safety and dangers of cannabis use in SA, as well as the question of medicinal use of cannabis.
The round table  discussed how better to address the problem of cannabis use, abuse and dependence, as well as the religious perspective on cannabis use, cultural or traditional perspective on cannabis use, economic implications, as well as the legal perspective on decriminalisation versus criminalisation of cannabis.
